Violondio
Beta · Free and without obligation

The memory of every instrument.

Workshop software for violin makers.

Violondio remembers what would otherwise live on slips of paper: every job, every instrument, every customer. It stays in the background and shows you what’s due today.

Free and without obligation during the beta. No contract, no payment details.

02 · The workshop

You already have a system

Labels on the instrument, a notebook on the bench, the rest in your head. It works, as long as you’re there and remember.

Violondio does the remembering for you. It doesn’t push itself forward or change how you work at the bench. When you want to know what’s due, you just look.

03 · In the background

In the background, not in the way

  1. 01

    Ask, and it knows

What’s in the workshop, what needs finishing today, what’s overdue. One glance is enough.

  2. 02

Every job stays with the instrument

Services, notes and dates are recorded with the instrument. Years later, you still know what was done.

  3. 03

    Your customers are kept informed

When you take an instrument in and when it’s ready for pickup, your customer gets an email. Fewer calls asking “Is it done yet?”

  4. 04

    Requests come to you

Musicians send reservation and appointment requests straight to your workshop. You decide when to reply.

04 · How it works

How it works in your workshop

1

Taking in

Customer, instrument and what needs doing, captured in three steps. Or scan the musician’s check-in code.

Check-in screen with the three steps customer, instrument and service.
2

At the bench

Every open job with the date it should be ready by. Anything overdue stands out straight away.

Service overview listing open jobs with completion dates and status.
3

Handing over

Hand over what’s finished. The work stays in the instrument’s history.

Check-out screen listing instruments ready for hand-over.

05 · Instrument passport

What a paper label can’t do

An instrument lives for three hundred years. A notebook, maybe ten.

Whoever opens the instrument after you finds, with luck, a paper label. Usually nothing. With Violondio your workshop issues a digital instrument passport: maker, origin, year and the work done — digitally signed and versioned. The owner can add it to their own account.

  • Issued by the workshop
  • Digitally signed and versioned
  • Public verification page via QR code
  • PDF for printing

06 · For musicians

For musicians

Your instruments and bows in one place, in your language. See what’s at the workshop right now, add your instrument passport and simply show your check-in code when you drop an instrument off.

07 · Beta

Honest about where we stand

Violondio is new and will launch officially soon. As one of the first workshops, you get access now, free and without obligation. We’re developing Violondio together with these workshops. Whatever you’re missing goes on our list.

What does beta mean?
  • Violondio works, but it isn’t finished. Features will be added and changed.
  • You may run into rough edges. Tell us, every report helps.
  • During the beta, Violondio is free and non-binding: no contract, no payment details.
  • Your feedback decides what gets built next.

We’re looking for active testers

Workshops and musicians who use Violondio day to day and tell us honestly what’s missing. Come and talk to me at Cremona Musica, or get started right away.
